This is my other blog actually – I have another one where I keep track of my experiments in technology, and this one is more literary and travel related. I used to have another one before ‘blogging’ was even a popular endeavor, but for some reason or another I decided to close it.

Surely the question is who do people blog for; blogging isn’t quite journalism and it isn’t quite diary-keeping. It’s something in between, veering towards the first for the popular (and popularity-seeking) and towards the second for the vast (and irrelevant) majority. In my case, it is basically a way for me to keep notes and ideas. In fact one of the reasons I closed the first blog was that I felt it was being too pompous, and hopefully this will not be the case here. Also I will probably keep the more personal stuff safely in one of my notebooks…
